Afluento is run by Nikita Bobrovskiy. This page explains what data Afluento collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything is unclear, email support@afluento.com.
The short version: we store your account, your practice history, and your settings. We do not sell your data. We do not show ads. When you speak, we keep the text of what you said, not the audio.
What we collect
- Your account. You sign in with Google or with an email link. We store your email address and basic profile details. We never see your Google password. Google sign-in only shares your basic identity (the openid, email, and profile scopes).
- Your practice history. We store your sessions and conversations as text: what you said, the corrections and feedback you got, your scores, and your progress — like which scenes you finished and which phrases you should review again.
- Your voice. When you speak, the audio goes to our servers so it can be turned into text and answered. We keep the text. We do not save the audio recording.
- Your settings. Things like your theme, language, and other preferences.
- Tasks, notes, and contacts. Some accounts include extra tools like tasks and contacts. If you use them, we store what you add — for example a contact’s name, email, and phone number.
- Calendars, if you connect one. You can connect Google Calendar or Apple Calendar. If you do, we store the events and details needed to show your calendar and make the changes you approve. The access keys for these connections are stored encrypted.
- Payments, if you buy a plan. Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see your full card number. We store your plan and its status.
How we use your data
We use your data to run Afluento: to sign you in, save your progress, personalize your practice, fix problems, and keep accounts safe. Our home page also sends us simple usage events, like “someone clicked the start button”. These events do not include your name or email.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show ads.
Who processes data for us
A few companies help us run Afluento. They only process data to provide the service:
- Supabase — sign-in, database, and file storage
- OpenAI and xAI — turn your speech into text and generate the responses and audio you hear
- Stripe — payments
- Vercel — hosts the website
- Hetzner — hosts our server
If you connect a calendar, your calendar data also goes to that provider (Google or Apple).
Cookies
Afluento only uses cookies it needs to work: to keep you signed in, remember your theme, and remember your language. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep data
We keep your data while your account is active. If you want your account and its data deleted, email support@afluento.com and we will delete them.
Your rights
Afluento follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Portuguese law. You can ask us to:
- show you the data we have about you (access),
- fix data that is wrong (correction),
- send you a copy of your data (export),
- delete your account and data (deletion).
To use any of these rights, email support@afluento.com.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page.
